2025 Kage Snowfire Xtreme Plow System LBX108
Live Edge Snow Blade to Pusher in SecondsThe KAGE® SnowFire Xtreme 2-in-1 Live Edge Snow Plow System has a revolutionary design that is built to outperform all other snow plows for compact equipment in commercial snow plowing. This patented 2-in-1 system allows the operator to transition seamlessly among angle plowing, back dragging, and pushing snow…. all within seconds and from the cab! That is the KAGE advantage! And to top it off, it utilizes KAGE’s own live cutting edge, known as the AdvantEDGE, and specialized floating skids to contour to the plowing surface while eliminating excess wear on the plow, machine, operator and substrate!
- This exciting new snow removal system is designed to be used with 5,000- to 15,000-pound:
- Skid Steers
- Compact Loaders
- Compact Tractors
- Midsize Tractors
- Utility Work Machines
- & Telehandlers!
Features may include:
Seamless Transition from Snow Blade to Snow PusherThe Xtreme SNOWKAGE box hooks onto a live edge snow plow to instantly create a floating containment system. This is done in seconds without leaving the cab of your skid steer, loader, telehandler or tractor.
The SnowFire Xtreme system takes the advantages of a live edge angle plow and a floating snow box and combines them into one fast and seamless operation. Operators can windrow or backdrag with the plow quickly and efficiently with maximum substrate contact and then grab the SNOWKAGE to push the piles or windrows to relocate them or stack them – even over curbs. Then they can go back to plowing – without changing machines or attachments.
Live Edge Snow ScrapingGet the contouring benefits of a sectional cutting edge to scrape snow like a champion with edges that will last! Equipped with a KAGE’s spring-loaded AdvantEDGE cutting edge which consists of independently floating and oscillating sections that are 18" or 24" wide, crowns, depressions and even potholes won’t interfere with the scrape.
- These cutting edge sections can last up to 20 times longer than traditional single-piece high carbon steel blades, depending on user style and cutting edge material.
- The first material option is Hardox 500 steel, which has been shown to last anywhere from 4 to 10 times as long as high carbon steel cutting edges. Plus, the spring-loaded design of the AdvantEDGE system resists the excessive pressure that causes premature wearing.
- The second cutting edge material option is Carbide, which often lasts twice as long as Hardox steel cutting edges (or up to 20 times that of high carbon steel).
- Anyway you cut it (See what we did there?), you’ll have a rigid cutting edge with a scraping capability that far exceeds softer cutting edge materials, like rubber or polyurethane, or single piece cutting edges.
The cutting edges are set at an aggressive 65-degree attack angle for optimal scraping. There are other live edge plows out there, but pay attention to that attack angle. If it is too vertical, it struggles to get under the snow and makes your machine work much harder to move the snow. If it’s too flat, it may just skim over the top of the snow or ice. 65 degrees has proven to be the most effective in the largest range of conditions.
