Operations Update - April 3, 2020

We want to update you on the changes we've made in our operations in order to continue to provide parts, service, and equipment while restrictions are being implemented in a growing number of communities to limit the spread of the coronavirus. To date, the State of Iowa has not issued a shelter in place edict and we are open for business as usual. This does not mean we don't have our employees, customers, or vendors best interest at heart; however, we have been and will continue to implement safe procedures to minimize exposure and sanitize all surfaces we are in contact with. Beyond that we are adhering to all policies set by our customers.

All our locations are open for full service from 7 am to 5 pm. Overtime repair or off shift repair is available for an extra charge at the owner's discretion.

What we are doing at our locations

  • We are sanitizing 2 to 3 times, per shift, using disinfectants on all work surfaces, computers, and equipment.
  • Hand sanitizer use is encouraged multiple times throughout the day and is available for all to use that come through our doors. When available at the request of the customer or employee we will give them hand sanitizer free of charge to carry with them.
  • Food sharing is no longer allowed.
  • All drinking fountains have been shut off until further notice.
  • Water and pop can be obtained through our vending machines.
  • Prior to ship out and at the time of return, rental equipment has a disinfectant sprayed in the cab and on all operating controls. We are using a bio-safe disinfectant, which sits for 10 minutes and then wiped clean; keeping the user of the product safe.
  • Freight moved between locations or unloaded from any source is disinfected at the time of unloading.
  • Employees with colds, coughs, or physical distress of any kind or a known exposure are sent home to monitor for 7 – 14 days depending on the circumstances. Once an employee is sent home, their area is sanitized and anyone else working inside of the 6-7 foot area around them are to self-monitor for 7 – 14 days and report any known symptoms immediately.
  • Equipment, supplies, or parts from a known contaminated area are double cleaned and sanitized by our staff with appropriate PPE.
  • Sales deliveries will be scheduled and confirmed prior to coming to a jobsite.
  • We will not knowingly enter a sight that has had a positive COVID-19 test until we speak with a health official and determine the risk.

What we are doing/asking if we go on a customer's site or facility

  • Practice social distancing. If we are asked to make deliveries, we are asking the jobsites to practice social distancing.
  • Before entering a job, we are checking what the customers procedures are and adjusting our actions to follow the safest procedures.
  • Any equipment and or supplies we provide is sanitized before and after we are finished with it.
  • Employees with a cough and or cold like symptoms or a known exposure are not sent onto a work site.
  • All preventative services are scheduled prior to coming out to the jobs.

What we are asking from those who enter our facility

  • Making sure the customer is aware of our policy
  • Customers with a cough and or cold like symptoms will be asked about it, so please do not take it personally. We are doing that for safety reasons.
  • Practice social distancing.
  • Ask that you let us know if you have special needs or requests with regards to social distancing.
  • Checking with customers to determine how they want us to handle their purchase: let them handle it, help them load, or staying clear.
  • Anything we sell or work on is sanitized before we handle it and after we are finished with it.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the branch manager at your nearest location. We will continue to communicate any changes in our operations and do everything possible to help you keep your equipment operating at its best.

Thank you for helping us to minimize the possibility of spreading this virus. We will do whatever we can to help you with your business. Stay safe and productive!
